The repository is how you would usually get the latest version of Wine. If you can't for whatever reason (like no internet connection), do it this way on a computer where you can, install Wine 1.2 on that computer, and go to /var/cache/apt/archives to see the downloaded .deb file for the latest version of Wine there.
Download here:
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine
And here: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine/+archive/ppa
And insurance?
Just download Wine 1.2 and the dependencies and I have it?

You should probably have this question answered on an Ubuntu forum. If you're on a normal wired network, though, you should already have an internet connection.livre1 wrote:I go to a friend's house there is Windows to download, carry live cd of Ubuntu I have not the slightest how to install the Internet there.
