Visit the Wine not found any. Deb



I just thought how to put the repository, and on my computer at home and this is not possible.

The repository is how you would usually get the latest version of Wine. If you can't for whatever reason (like no internet connection), do it this way on a computer where you can, install Wine 1.2 on that computer, and go to /var/cache/apt/archives to see the downloaded .deb file for the latest version of Wine there.

I go to a friend's house there is Windows to download, carry live cd of Ubuntu I have not the slightest how to install the Internet there.


Probably the deb package and downloaded some ftp, someone could give me the link?

Don't know if this will help, but this is the page for adding the Wine
repository for Ubuntu. Near the bottom is a link to older versions, if you
need them.

The problem is that I'm wondering if there and safe to download, and I have to download because the wine-gecko, just now be getting Wine to run Windows programs?

You should probably have this question answered on an Ubuntu forum. If you're on a normal wired network, though, you should already have an internet connection.
