App Crash?
App Crash?
Trying to install NBA 2k15, have the exe file and copied it and all other files given into the Program Files folder. When I try t open the app it automatically closes. Help!
Re: App Crash?
You need to run the installer, the same as you would on Windows.
Re: App Crash?
There are two exe files, one is Launcher and the other is NBA 2k15. Im using the NBA 2k15 one and the response is "No new executables found!pcoffy wrote:Trying to install NBA 2k15, have the exe file and copied it and all other files given into the Program Files folder. Maybe the installer failed...?
If you tried to install somewhere other than C: drive (drive_c in the wrapper) then you will get this message too. All software must be installed in C: drive."
What should I do?
Re: App Crash?
Thats a Wineskin error message... Wineskin is not supported here, as this forum is for plain Wine only.pcoffy wrote:There are two exe files, one is Launcher and the other is NBA 2k15. All that message means though is you installed/copied/moved into the wrapper, and it didn't find any changes in exe files... If you manually copied the files in, then you don't need to use the Installer that can display that error... it will just be used to copy for you. Just go in Advanced and set the EXE to point to the right exe file.
All that being said... Wine cannot run NBA 2k15... it requires DX11, which is basically not yet supported in Wine.
