What is missing here ? Please help

Now with the new Version from 2015 I have problems.
Can somebody tell me from the shared terminal output, what I'm eventually missing (e.g. some DLL):

The installer still has problems to install these 2 Redistributable Packages:

/media/ich/tax2015 is the path to the CD-ROM.

1) I do not find the "Microsoft Visual C++ XYZ Redistributable Packages" in the list of DLLs in winetricks. Maybe they are named different, can you tell me?

No, you cannot install the things on your CD with winetricks. Winetricks downloads the redistributables.

Now I found out, that there is no need to install vcrun2010, vcrun2013 with winetricks, as the Tax-2015 installer anyway installs its own ones from its CD.
The real problem here is, that wine-1.6.2 doesn't work anymore on Ubuntu 15.04: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... ug/1484840
To workaround, I have installed wine1.7, see: viewtopic.php?p=101544#p101544

Yes, there is. Winetricks does more than just run the installer; it also adds the needed overrides, which your app's installer won't.

In that case you don't. What that means is that Wine's builtin vcrun is sufficient.

You would have to install with winetricks first, as winetricks will detect the runtime if it has already been installed and not do anything.

Possibly, but looking at the terminal output behind the error message in your most recent screenshot I see a line that ends with "noexec filesystem?" That could be the cause of your problem; make sure the partition you have installed the app to is mounted exec.

Well, the xxxUpdateyyy.exe is located on a NTFS file system, which is mounted with defaults option, which includes the exec option and the file is listed with rwxrwxrwx permissions, so it should be executable. Maybe a bug in the ntfs-3g driver, but I copied the xxxUpdateyyy.exe to my home dir and from there I was able to execute it with wine. So much thanks for the hint.

Ok, as you suggested earlier, I now tried this - with wine1.7 - before installing my App, but I got:

Sounds like your winetricks version is old. Get the current version from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Winet ... winetricks.
