Oblivion inversed sound

Post by Michiduta »

The problem is the sound output is inversed. What should be heard on the right is heard on the left side and vice versa.

So ... if a guard is on your left and he says something you hear him from you right side... This applies to all sounds not just chatter.. bonfires, horse, etc...

Is there any way to fix this?

Used wine 1.3.0 and currently using wine 1.3.1. Running Ubuntu 10.04 32bit. Oblivion has been patched to latest official patch and also the unofficial patch has been applied. Only one mod used that affects water. It has no effect on the sound whether it is activated or not.

The link to the application is this:

If you're sure about this, please file a bug at bugs.winehq.org.

Last time I heard someone complain about this, they had a bad
audio cable :-)

I was going to suggest interchanging the locations of the speakers,
earbuds, or whatever.

Isn't there an option in wine that I could activate to inverse sound output?
