The application plays back wav-files without a sound

My operating system is Kubuntu 8.04, the wine version: 1.1.37. The program "Bible" (http://www.ozon.ru/context/detail/id/3458072/) which has been installed from CD-ROM, plays back the wav-files while being in service. There are moments when the program plays back two wav-files one after another. During these moments, a problem occurs: there is no sound at playback of second wav-file after the first file has been played. During this moment, when there is no a sound from second wav-file, the message takes off for consoles:

ALSA lib pcm.c:7157:(snd_pcm_recover) underrun occured
P.S. The same problem takes place at wine version 1.1.42
