Desktop for Wine with open source software

Post by mitcoes »

I would like a desktop where I can work as MS WOS for installing and play software and some basic software apps that should work as browser, notepad, calculator, I think it would make easier to use wine, and it is easy to make a desktop as bumptop or similar to put MS WOS apps on it.

I think you are after a virtual machine running in seamless mode.

I can recommend Virtual Box for this task. More advanced games will
not be possible using this solution how ever.
