PC-BSD8 Sound runs, but Wine HL2 has no Sound

Hi Folks,

i use PC-BSD8 AMT64 and my Sound is running in native Software. But i try to play HL2 in Wine 1.1.39 and i have no Sound, in Steam Configuration i see in the Sound tab: Wine OSS configuration.

Somebody know this Problem or have an Solution for?

Wine's OSS driver sometimes sets the volume to 0. You can usually work
around the problem with the following:

run 'winecfg'
select the audio tab
at the bottom, change the hardware acceleration setting to emulation.

Does anyone have a patch for this? I would be willing to test, so we
can get it commited upstream
