default window of wine

hello
every time i open wine as user it creates a default windows which does not fit my screen an when i resize it by clicking mouse on the margin of it and pulling it does not show any thinks unless some lines.
but when use it as root i have no such error.
how i can resize my default wine window?

Wine has no default window, unless you set it up to use the "virtual desktop". You can change (or disable) this by running winecfg and checking the Graphics tab.

i doo that but yet i cant expand the window of wine ?i dont know how to send the image of it but know that when i pull it the window does not changes.[/url][/list][/list][/code][/quote][/u]

If you mean you're trying to expand a virtual desktop while it's running, you can't. You can only change that in winecfg, and it won't take effect until Wine is restarted.

You actually can, but that won't do anything. It's like stretching your monitor while game still running in 640x480. He needs to tell his program to use higher resolution.

thanks i have go in winecfg->graphics->virtual desktop 800*600 and i change the size of it and now it works good.
