DotNet over wine?

Is it possible to install MS Dot Net framework over wine? Also can I install such programs which are made to be used over winxp?

New to wine, please guide me.
I use kubuntu gutsy.

Yes, you can. It doesn't work very well yet (not completely supported
in Wine), but this will give you many exciting new bugs to file

Best way is using Dan Kegel's Winetricks script:

http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks

You can install Mono 1.9 or Microsoft .NET 2.0 with this.

Don't expect everything (or much) to work properly, and please file
bugs on whatever doesn't work.
