Wine Font / Screen size problem

Wine Font / Screen size problem

I know some of you are thinking "oh know, Not another one", But i have been a good users and looked in here to find out if i can fix this myself.......

i have looked in the ~wine/system.reg and have changed the fonts to

[System\\CurrentControlSet\\Hardware Profiles\\Current\\Software\\Fonts] 1206397516
"FIXEDFON.FON"="vgafix.fon"
"FONTS.FON"="vgasys.fon"
"LogPixels"=dword:000001e0
"OEMFONT.FON"="vga850.fon"

now i get the window the correct size / screen res so i can see it on all one page, the problem i have is that the information in the window is still too big.

When i run winecfg all i can see is the 1st 3 tabs and the words "Application settings" and a little of the "Defualt Settings" and thats it, can anyone help me out on this

Why would you modify that stuff? Revert it back or 'rm -rf ~/.wine'.

Hi Vitamin, and thank you for getting back to me.

The reasons i changed the systems.reg file to this is from the looks of the other links ...ie

that if i change the line ....

[System\\CurrentControlSet\\Hardware Profiles\\Current\\Software\\Fonts] 1208801152
"FIXEDFON.FON"="vgafix.fon"
"FONTS.FON"="vgasys.fon"
"LogPixels"=dword:00000060
"OEMFONT.FON"="vga850.fon"

then it will put things back how they should. When i tried this it reset the window back but not the content of the window.

After tring the

'rm -rf ~/.wine'.

This has worked. But it done look like Winecfg has been reset to default.

Now its working i should be about to sort out the rest.
