There's a very similar bug report atPowerPoint Viewer 2007 (downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... layLang=en) doesn't run on Wine 0.9.59 (installed from Wine repository) on Ubuntu Gutsy. Installation completes successfully but all I get after trying to run the app is:
$ wine Program\ Files/Microsoft\ Office/Office12/PPTVIEW.EXE
