I have been trying t install Kinights of the Old Republic in wine 1.01 and I get the below error. I am using Ubuntu 9.04. Any ideas on how to fix it?

How do i get the new version? Its not in the Synaptic manager of Ubuntu 9.04. I downloaded it from the web site but don't know how to install it.

"sudo dpkg -i /path/to/package/packagename.deb" will install it.
you could also add the following line to /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb
http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt jaunty main #WineHQ - Ubuntu 9.04 "Jaunty Jackalope"
this is explained step by step here:

i'm not sure that will solve your problem. but it's recommendable none the less.
