Error 3: path not found

Post by cyberlinus »

O.S. Linux Ubuntu 8.04

I am trying to install Banana 5 accounting, following the SW manufacturer instructions (http://www.banana.ch/cms/en/linux_installation)

I have downloaded the .exe file, but when I try to open it with Wine, I get the following error msg:

"Not possible to create folder "C:/windows/is-7DK.tmo
Error 3: path not found"

I guess there is something wrong in the Wine configuration, I tried but I can not find how and where I should direct the installation to a different path.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Wine version? If it's not wine-1.1.21, upgrade.
If problem persists, remove ~/.wine directory and reinstall your software.
If that didn't work, post complete terminal output from running this program.

- Upgraded to wine 1.1.21: did'nt work (error msg still showing)
- Removed ~/.wine directory and reinstalled the software: perfectly working now.

Many thanks for your help and assistance, vitamin!! :)
