Site badges / certification?

Post by NoobixCube »

There may have been a topic like this already, but I tried all the search terms I could think of and didn't come up with anything. Apologies if this has been answered before.

Is there a badge that makers of Windows software can put on their site that show the WINE compatibility rating with their software? I just had a mental image of people putting a badge with a link to their application's appdb page next to their Windows download that says something like "WINE: Platinum Rating" or something. I'm not talking about a full blown official certification process, just a site badge and a link. Probably a bad idea, but I'm interested in opinions :)

Could be nice :-) Presumably approach those listed on
http://wiki.winehq.org/AppsThatSupportWine first.

I think it's a nice idea. It shows that you and your apps are fine with non-Windows systems even if your apps aren't compiled for them. :)
