World of Warcraft Error Since Patch Day!

Post by Zaigan »

Ok two things, One, I also updated using the Ubuntu auto updater and i noticed there was something for wine, not sure if that could be a factor, but also WoW patched today.

Been getting this error very consistently:

err:seh:raise_exception Unhandled exception code c0000005 flags 0 addr 0x7bc46394

If anyone could help me out id really appreciate it...i have raid soon.

Thanks,

Zai

Just a heads up, it's probably a problem within WoW. My mother plays this from an XP machine and I just helped her update this morning. Hers works, but about 75% of her guild (several hundred members) is offline due to WoW crashing or files missing upon applying the patch. I do believe that Blizzard screwed this one up big-time!

I'm not sure. I started playing again yesterday after a few months
absence. Under XP it doesn't crash. Under Wine it crashes often.

It used to run fine under Wine, although in the last few months pretty
much everything relevant has moved on to a new version.
