Flash 10 and Firefox 3

Hi everyone,
I have a problem playing fullscreen flash videos with wine. Whenever I try to maximize an embedded flash video (for example in youtube), my screen freezes and I have to Ctl+Alt+Backspace. I have disabled compiz just in case it's messing things, but nothing changed. I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 in X86_64. Does anybody know why this might be happening?

What video card and drivers? Try (re)installing latest video drivers.

My card is GeForce 8400M GS and I have the latest Nvidia 180 drivers. I tried the 177 and the 173 before that, so I don't think I can do anything else driver-wise. I can't understand what is the problem, since flash 10 works ok in firefox-ubuntu
