Wine auto Upgrade - Now program won't start

Post by Metaljaz »

An auto update of wine to version 1.1.18 was done in Ubuntu Intrepid and now i can not get the mud client Portal GT to open. (Exception EDBEngineError in module Portal.exe. Invalid file name.)
Any suggestions?

Run a regression test and file a bug

Okay after changing several things and being unsuccessful I removed version 1.1.18 and reinstalled version 1.1.17. Portal GT is back up and running.
Not sure what the problem is.

Is there a demo version of this program available where someone can run
a regression test to find out which update caused the program to fail
after upgrading to 1.1.18?

Also, please file a bug report if you cannot conduct the regression test
yourself.

Thank you.
