An app installer renders completely white and cursor disappears inside it

I am trying to install Otto's Magic Blocks, and I have an old HP Games installer for it. When I launch that, the window for it does appear, but it's solid white and my cursor disappears when moving into it. I remember something similar happening with the installer for TRON 2.0 KillerApp Mod, where the license agreements and information texts would be blank, allegedly because it needed some sort of Internet Explorer thing to render that. This might be related, but I am guessing.
Wine 10.4 staging i686 RPM package version on Fedora 42 KDE Edition x86 64-bit.
