I also tried to ignore the err:ole errors and continue installations but my first application needs dotnet and dotnet installation (direct or thru winetricks) "explodes" with COM and OLE errors ... .
I must say that I am quite distraught when faced with this problem (I have been dealing with it for several days, which explains why I ended up completely reinstalling MINT 22.1).
FYI, STEAM, in an installation provided by steam (an encapsulated wine, I understand) works...
