Is it possible to use a dual GPU setup where one GPU acts as a dedicated PhysX GPU?

So I have an AMD RX 6800 as my main GPU but for games that adopted PhysX early they run incredibly slow when PhysX is being run on the CPU. I know on Windows you could have a dedicated Nvidia GPU and use the old Nvidia control panel to tell games to use that GPU to handle PhysX while letting the main GPU handle all the rendering. I got an old GTX 650 in my system but I'm not really sure if I can use for that on Linux as the Nvidia control panels we have don't have such a setting in them. I also didn't find anything on the arch wiki about doing such a thing. Any insight would be appreciated.
