I am a beginner with using wine. I just installed the dog.com Deus ex Goty on an iMac 2017 intel core i5 3.0 ghz with 8 gb of ram and a radeon 555 pro with 2 gb vram through wine 9.0 rebuild 3. My first problem is that in can only launch the game by running the installer because when I try the desktop Icon the system asks for an app to launch it with.
The second and more serious problem is that when the game launches it runs incredibly slowly. I would estimate about a frame every three to five seconds which is shocking for such an old game.
If anyone who has experience with Wine could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
