Hello,
I use Winehq staging V9 in order to use some win software for astronomy like Autoskatter4! and Registax6. After an update of my OS, MINT V22, I have some trouble around this two softwares
.
AS4! normaly opens two windows, now only one open ! So I can't no longer use it.
Registax6 opens but very very slow. And usage is very very slow.
Other software run right and for all, the screen is not in the right resolution 1920x1080, except if I swich Wine into full screen.

Does downgrading wine help? If so, can you do a regression test?

Re: Trouble with Win software after update
It is too much for me. Wine 9 was installed as the procedure on the site.
It is very curious. I have 3 PC: 2 laptops (HP Elibooke 745 G6 and an old Toshiba Portege R930) and one desktop.
The Toshiba is under Mint 21.1 Vera 64 bits. Screen 1366x768, VGA compatibe controller, Intel 3rd Gen Core
HP under Mint V22 Wilma 64 bits. Screen 1920x1080, VGA compatible controller Picasso/Raven 2 [RADEON Vega mobile serie].
Desktop under Mint V22 Wilma 64 bits. Screen 1680x1050, Nvidia GeForce GT 710.
3 software are concerned by an issue: Stellarium362 Linux, Autostakker4 and Registax6 Win both. Autostakker3 runs right.
Stellarium630 runs right on the Toshiba. Not on the HP and the desktop. The key "little 2" on the rights of 1 on AZERTY keyboard is not active. It is used to access functions of the software.
Autostakker4 runs right on the desktop. On the HP and Toshiba it opens only one windows instead of 2. So I can't use it.
Registax6 runs well on Toshiba and the desktop. On the HP it opens very very slowly and runs very very slowly.
On the HP, with the Win software, the display is not into the resolution of the screen 1920x1080.
I am going to install Mint V21.3 on the HP to see if it is better. Well not for autostakker and Registax6, but OK for Stellarium360.

Re: Trouble with Win software after update
Hello,
At last, I think all these issues come from the display card, because I have any problem on a Toshiba Portege R930 (Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor graphic Controller) or on my desktop (Nvidia Geforce GT720). On the HP, there is a AMD Radeon™ Vega.
How can I investigate on this way please ?
