Virtual Desktop 60hz cap and Sleeping Dogs

Post by SilverDawn »

Hello,

I'm trying to get the GOG version of Sleeping Dogs Definitive edition to run on Fedora 40. Valve recently got the Steam version working under Proton. The only fix I can figure out to get the game to properly run is to disable fullscreen and run the game in a virtual desktop. Unfortunately if I do that the game gets capped to 60hz. On the Steam version I can properly select my resolution and framerate "3840x2160x120hz" or something like that. Running the GOG version with Virtual Desktop enabled, I only see "3840x2160x60hz". Is this normal behavior for the "Virtual Desktop" option? If not, how do I fix this or change the cap somehow?

Thanks.
