No visuals when I try to run Undertale Yellow?

I'm doing everything right, everything works and all, except the visuals. Just a black window.
I did find a forum topic on this, which said to put the .exe file in the drive_c folder, but I'm not sure what that means or how to do so.
When I installed Wine, I ran the command in my terminal as it says to do so, but something didn't work so I navigated to the .xz file, used Archive Utility to get the application, clicked "Show Package Contents", and ran the Unix executable named "wine". I'm on MacOS.

I should note that other games like Baby's Nightmare Circus and UCN work perfectly fine
