Microsoft Office 2003 Premium version does not run

Hi,

I was able to install MS Office Premium version on ubuntu 8.04 LTS (wine 0.9.59)

Everytime I rum Word, Excel or Frontpage i get the installation dialog box, asking me for the Product key, after entering the key the dialog disapperas and the application shutsdown.

Please help, how do I rectify the matter.

Also is it legal to install MS Office on Ubuntu ??

That version is ancient. Upgrade to the latest Wine, currently 1.1.14.

You should read the MS Office EULA and contact your friendly MS
representative to clarify that issue.
