Installing Warcraft 3

Im New to Linux and Wine.
I use Ubuntu 8.10, just downloaded wine. all my drivers are working

Now, I have the CD's for Warcraft 3, Its stated Installing Fine but half way installing then worldedit.exe and it crashers giving me

Please post terminal output of the install.

What Wine version do you have (run 'wine --version')?

My Wine Version is wine-1.0.1

But this is so cool.
when you said you wanted a terminal out put, i tryed installing it in terminal and it worked????

like wtf but sweet as?

could someone explain 2 me why in worked under termainal and not the gui?

Gizmo:

Some programs will not function properly under Wine unless they are
started from the directory they were installed to. I'm guessing that
Warcraft 3 is one of these.
