Gamepad at /dev/input/eventX is not being regconized as gamepad

I have a quite problematic setup that works for me:
Debian armhf chroot with wine using box86
I have a gamepad connected and is detected by evtest at /dev/input/event19
All axis and buttons show up and work in evtest-qt, but wine control won't pick it up

Wine is prebuilt binary from PlayOnLinux: https://www.playonlinux.com/wine/binari ... x86.tar.gz

If anyone has a similar problem and was able to fix it, please let me know. I can't seem to find any related pieces of information. The only thing I came across that has the same problem as I had is KDE also failed to recognize the gamepad while evtest did just fine
