Hi,
yesterdayI was reminded how stubborn (older) people can be when it comes to some habits like "my game has to look exactly like the one I am used to" after switching two laptops from two retirees from Windows 7 to Manjaro. Both are usually quite skilled when it comes using PCs but when it comes to their games like Solitaire, thery adre adamant.
After some research, I found this standalone installer package of all the desired games (https://winaero.com/blog/get-windows-7- ... indows-10/). But here, the problem begins: I can install the .exe via Wine, games also do start, but there are no menus in game, and also there are no descriptions in the few popups, just empty boxes.
OS: Manjaro Cinnamon, latest Kernel, fully updated, latest version of Wine staging.
Anyone got some ideas how to get these games running with all menus/descriptions?
Thanks in advance
Chris

I had the exact same problem trying the same W7 Games install this last weekend. Running latest Linux Mint, fully updated.

Could you somehow fix it?
