Ubuntu 8.10 wine repository (1.1.11)

Post by mattmill30 »

Hi,

I'd imagine by now it has already been reported, and possibly there is another thread already regarding the problem, that the wine repository for ubuntu 8.10 hasn't been updated to include the latest development version of wine (1.1.11).

Is this a known problem?

If so, is there a fix to be able to download 1.1.11 via repository?

Thanks,
Matthew Millar

Ask the Ubuntu packager. Or just compile Wine yourself.

Well, the official ubuntu wine repository is http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/ but the latest version there is 1.1.10. Usually it gets updated within few hours after release.

It's Scott Richie who packages it (he also does Ubuntu's official packages).

Likely on holiday. (Wow, that's so weird to say for a Texan).
