I posted about SpeechSDK and the post seems to have disappeared is there a reason for this is it not relevant on this forum?

I was informed by someone else doing similar work that they annoyed a moderator on here, but this is seperate work from them and i am a different person. As i described i am working to get the Text to Speech functionality working in wine of the SAPI package. I have a few problems with installation.

How frustrating, I apologise in advance if this rant is in error.

What you trying to do won't work. Wine is not windows and not made to run parts of windows itself.

What i am doing does work! I am listening to Microsoft Sam right now and if it was trained to my voice then i would be dictating this message back to you.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYvb5akdsGs - running text aloud with the Speech SDK installed :P

Proof of something wine is not supposed to do. The beauty of a user is they do things the developer never thought of. And what is installing Direct X?

I am not sure that is a reason to remove a post? Did i break a rule?

I am working on this project to help people who are disabled to give them a level playing field. If you want to stop that then go ahead be my guest but only you'll look bad at the end of the day not anyone else.

I don't see any rule that was violated here:

notlistening, what exactly are you trying to do on Wine's end?

He trying to steal part of windows and trying to convince everyone this is right. See the other post about that.

They are two different users, and that's not necessarily the case. He
asked for an explanation, not a blind closing of his post. He's
running the program under wine, not distributing it. You could make
the same argument for using native comtcl32/etc., under wine.
