STALKER keyboard pauses

Wine 1.1.8, in STALKER, shadow chernobyl, when I press any key, the game enters in PAUSE mode. None of the solutions in appdb for stalker works for me (scroll lock; allow window manager to control the windows).

Any suggestions?

It's a long known annoyance - incorrect initial state of some keys.

Just remap pause to unused key like F11. You'll need to unpause it only once at the start.

Thks, I found out that in my case it's num lock that makes it right (not scroll lock).
