The AppDB says the Origin client is platinum, and also that several of the associated games work, but just now when I tried to install it, first it complained that it needs at least Win 7, then after I set Wine to Win 7 it just dies silently. Looks like Origin updated it recently and now it's broken under Wine?
Also, the Origin site says something about restarting the client by September 13th to get the "new Origin experience" or games will stop working, so it would seem that people who already had Origin games working in Wine before now can't play anymore... can anyone confirm this?

I was able to run Origin and SimCity 2013 in wine 1.9.8 in default wineprefix before new origin client release.
Now when try to install new client im getting a message:
"Sorry, your machine isn't able to run Origin because it doesn't meet our hardware specifications or your hardware drivers need to be updated. For more information please check our help article"
I cant figure out, how to make Origin think my system fine.
