Wine - Drawing problems

Post by Cazeu64 »

Hi, I got some problems with Wine.

I use Wine 1.6.2.

Some controls aren't drawn properly.

On a real Windows :

On Wine :

Difference :

On the third picture, you can see the main differences :
- On the top-right corner, miss the transparency.
- On checkbox buttons, they aren't drawn properly.

Can I do something in order to improve these points ? Maybe upgrade Wine ?

Thanks in advance !

Have a nice day.

Yes. 1.6.2 is over two years old and no longer supported.

Thanks about your answer !

I looked for a newer wine version this morning, but where can I find the last stable version (1.8.1 I guess) ?

I only found staging and development version ^^.

I use a Debian Jessie.

Thanks in advance.

WineHQ doesn't package the stable version. Use the development or staging package.
