Flash Player for Portable Firefox v 42.0

I'm new to forums and need help in simple form please

I have
Wine v 1.6.2
Linux Mint 17
64 bit laptop

I am using Portable Firefox v 42.0 within wine

Problem is it tells me to install Flash Player to play content. If I continue with following the pop up windows I get advised that my windows is 32 bit. by clicking install I get download window for - flashplayer21_ha_install.exe - running this download I get installation error.

Please advise.

Start by upgrading Wine; 1.6.2 is over two years old and no longer supported.

I've now updated to Wine v 1.8

I've tried running a video and Adobe is saying that I have a choice of files to download
Yum
Tar.gz
Rpm
Apt

Which one should I try pls.

None of them. You need the Windows version.

All now seems to be ok
