Ballistic Overkill on Steam

Post by morcar »

I love the game Ballistic Overkill on Windows, but I have made the full switch to Linux.

Using WINE for installing Steam I think i got right as most of the games run, but not Ballistic.
It seems it needs unity and I have no clue how I would go about installing this for the game.

Any help would be great.
Thanks

Which is a Unity 3D Engine - but the game can't find the Unity libraries - right??!!

If you planning to give Linux a serious go I'd recommend getting a bit familiar with using Wine... Probably wading through the Wine FAQ would help a bit in this respect!!
  1. Are you using vanilla Wine / Wine Staging or a 3rd party wrapper like Play on Linux? If it's the latter then you'll need to get your support from them!!
  2. What version of Wine are you using?
  3. Are you installing Steam to a 32-bit Wineprefix?
  4. Are you installing Ballistic Overkill via the Steam interface?
A little bit more information would help clear up what's going wrong!!
