I'd recommend checking out the WineHQ AppDB page for Photoshop ... Hopefully your (unspecified) version of Photoshop is listed there...

It used to be a PITA to install Photoshop - you literally had to manually copy over the all the bits (including registry keys) from a Windows install. Things should be a bit smoother these days... Don't follow some of the outdated guides that recommend copying an install over... That's just the problem of a 'community (un)maintained site'!"

I believe if you follow the most recent Photoshop CS6 (13) installation test - you'll need to install some extra bits and bobs with the winetricks tool.
Make sure you use a 32-bit Wineprefix. See the WineHQ FAQ.

I'd recommend using wine 1.9.5 ( download / install the WineHQ repository ). I presume your (unspecified) OS / distro is supported by WineHQ...

Just post back - in this thread - if you get stuck 8)
