Since Wine 1.8.x I've noted that Wine doesn't give us any option to "emulate" Windows versions older than XP. In other words, we can not to use Windows 3.x, 95, 98E, Me, 2000 and NT.
Even the fact that, I guess, there is no too much software that requires, only, those OS, I wonder... Why to not give that chance? ???
Isn't there a way to get a Windows Me (for example) "emulated" environment, today? How? ???
How to "emulate" old Windows OS?
Re: How to "emulate" old Windows OS?
Versions of Windows prior to XP are only available in 32 bit wineprefixes, because those versions of Windows did not exist in 64 bit.
You can create a 32 bit wineprefix on a 64 bit system. https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#How_do_I_cr ... _system.3F
