Help Accessing USB Mouse on OSX

Hi, I'm trying to enable Wine to see my USB mouse.
The software (for the Mionix Castor mouse) runs correctly in Wine but doesn't recognise the mouse being connected. Is there any fix to this? (I've tried linking it to a COM port but as the mouse didn't show up in /dev I didn't know how to link it)

If the software you're talking about is a Windows driver, that won't work in Wine. Hardware has to be working in the host system for Wine to see it.
