I'm one of your historical fan I contributed to the AppDB (where I am Emanuele) and I'm using Wine from ages

As of now I have a Gentoo system and my hardware is an AMD card R9 290. I found a problem and I think it's not merely a Wine bug and that's the reason: I'm using Divine Divinity GOG version in Wine and PlayonLinux. The game worked flawlessly with proprietary drivers (both nVidia and AMD) with any version of Wine from the 1.4: so Wine can run that game perfectly.
Some months ago I installed the Mesa drivers for compatibility reasons: I'm using them to play also complex 3D games like Metro 2099 Linux native and various Steam games. No problem at all.
Then I tried to launch the ever-worked configuration of DD from PlayonLinux and surprise: the full screen mode has a lot of graphic artifacts appearing and disappearing and the screen is tilting continuously. It happens with all the Wine version, so in my opinion something is broken between Wine and Mesa OSD (v11.1.0). The issue didn't happen when playing the game in virtual desktop but only in full screen mode.
My question is: of course Wine version after version is managing the full screen mode correctly but with Mesa something goes wrong (from ever, something never changed from the Wine 1.4 version to the 1.7.55), how can I help you to identify the problem?
The latest Mesa (Gallium) OSD drivers are wonderful: shouldn't Wine work flawlessly with them would be a loss.
Thank you and regards.
P.S.: I attached to this message a Wine (1.7.50) log file (7zipped) with the WGL enabled as explained in your guide. As a start, I hope it helps. I just installed 1.7.55 but I suppose the log file will be similar because the problem is there anyway.
