Hey everyone, I'm using wine for the first time and I have successfully got the game I'm looking to play up and running. The problem is I need to patch the game, so I downloaded the patch and open it. The problem is I need to cut and paste it over the original file, and wine file manager does not seem to have a paste option. Just cut and copy when you right click, and control+v doesn't work too.
I'm on wine or wine bottler 1.6.1. This is the version I was told to use to play this game.

Use your native file manager.
FYI, Winebottler is not supported here; this forum is for plain Wine only.

Thanks for the help, but I'm not sure what that means? I cannot seem to locate the games files anywhere outside of the wine file manager.
I'm actually not even sure if I am using the wine bottler? Like I said I am totally lost here.
The patched files I can find on my Mac desktop, but where would I look to find the game outside of the wine file manager?
