Personal Finances: problems with some images on buttons

Post by Flier92 »

Using wine 1.7.44 on Mint 17.1, there are problems with displaying some buttons in the Alzex Personal Finances program.
What they should look like (taken from the program help):

In attachment, there are screenshots of what do they look like when choosing Windows 7 mode and Windows XP mode.
As it's seen, when in Windows 7, the buttons are completely black. Situation is better under XP - there is text, but still no images on buttons.
When asked an author of this program, he said it could be a problem with displaying PNGs having alpha channel.
Wine log doesn't have any errors during the program run.

Hello!

I have a same problem with this app.
"File is a bug" What does it mean?

The previously main version was work fine with wine (4.x) but the 5.x has the "icon" bug.
How to resolve it?
