Hi I was trying to get Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 to install under wine. It installs in Windows fine but under wine it says it failed to install shared technologies and then rolls back everything it did.
I was able to get the program to give me output in console while doing the install process. I've attached it below.
I don't know what's wrong or how to fix it. Can someone help me please?

Known bug: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37736
The most recent test in the AppDB says the user killed the process when the installer hung on shared common technologies; you could try doing that. https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager. ... &iId=27371

Thanks. I'll give it a shot and let you know how it went.
Re: Installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 Under Wine
Seems to not work for me. I got a bunch of output from Photoshop when I tried launching it.
Actually It seems the icon in the menu is broken only. when it popped up the message saying it couldn't install the shared technologies. I killed the process running it. At that point I tried starting with the afore mentioned issues. Then I remembered reading something when I was googling earlier trying to solve this. It said something along the lines of the menu and desktop icons needed to be pointed at the right spot but otherwise seemed to install fine.
No Idea what's next other than maybe marking this as kinda solved I would guess.
