Login spins uplay (the Ubisoft Game Launcher)

Can ne1 suggest what needs to be collected or tested next?

Clicking login, or go-online if running in off-line mode, results in "Uplay logging in..." followed by the spinning logo and this continues indefinitely. Expected the process to take a few seconds and then show the next screen.

uplay installed via winetricks, into a newly created prefix. Noting there is a bug in winetricks where it's difficult, or impossible, to install uplay and steam into the same prefix... Though some steam games, like Far Cry 3, use uplay.

I don't see any mention in this or the other thread of what Wine version you're using. If it's not the lates development release, upgrade.

According to the most recent AppDB test report, Uplay doesn't require any winetricks to install or run. https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager. ... &iId=31215 Try installing it yourself to a clean wineprefix (no winetricks). If the problem persists, post the full terminal output.
