Why "Default Wine Desktop" appears frequently ?

I have installed Wine through adding PPA. It was running nice. Recently for last about 15 days, duringf the working on Ubuntu 14.04 desktop and surfing internet and other workings on the OS-ubuntu desktop, the virtual window of the "Default Wine Desktop" frequently appears. It seems that some programme pertaining to wine might be running in the backgroung and this might be causing the trouble. Due to this many a times the going on work becomes slow and hangs for few seconds and disturbs.
How can I resolve this Issue?

Kill the process. If it's not something you've intentionally set to autostart, you should also figure out why it's (apparently) starting on its own. It could be malware.
