Assassin's Creed Retail version

Post by Smurfie13 »

Hi all

I am new to this whole Wine and Linux, ( Did have some previous experience about 6 years back)

I see Wine has become a lot easier to work with since then, but now I am having a problem running Assassins Creed properly. I see in the post for Assassins Creed (https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager. ... &iId=11069), that it is talking about a "winetrick component list" can someone please shed some light as to what this is, and where I can update my list?

And also I have an AMD R7-260x 2GB OC GPU, but with the detection app, it says that I have an AMD HD 5600 series card, with 536MB of Video Memory, how can I fix this, or what can be done about that?

Thank you for the time, and hope to hear from you soon.

Info on winetricks: http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks

You can set the video memory in the registry. http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulRegistryKeys
