Why no Wine for Windows
If wine is better at providing compatibility to older windows software than windows then why hasn't anyone ported it TO windows. I'd like to run old windows games that simply won't run on Windows XP to 8.

I think the main reason nothing like this has been done is simply due to no demand.
Its been worked on some, but not really to a working state.

I find it ironic people want wine porting TO windows when they RUN windows. Head spin!

You're asking in the wrong place. The people here are using Linux, MacOSX, or *BSD. Why should we care whether new versions of Windows can run old games?
