Wine WILL NOT connect to internet!

Someone anyone PLEASE HELP!!!

I just simply do not understand why this IS the way it is.. I have Kubuntu, and networking is fine, Im using wifi which works fine, I can browse webpages etc..

Something will not allow programs running on wine to connect to the internet. There are no options or settings to do anything to fix the problem. I do not want to reinstall another Wine, this one SHOULD be able to connect to the internet, and I do not want to try other things, I want to fix THIS!!

Specifically i am trying to run Zello, which works perfectly on Wine, other people have done it.. but thats not the issue, I can not connect to ANYTHING online through Wine.

How can we diagnose this?!!

Wine version? If it's not the latest development release, upgrade. If the problem is present in the latest development release, open a terminal and run

and post the terminal output.

As I said before in the post I do not want to upgrade. I want to figure out why what I havr isnt working. What can I try?

wine internet explorer opens, and if I try to go to a website, I tried google, it says wine has encountered a serious error, and it freezes too..

Also I just noticed, after I chose to kill the program (wine) a bunch of stuff was output in terminal. like some error information.. Its really long.

Something is seriously wrong with the wineprefix. Delete it and create a new one by running winecfg, then run wine iexplore again.

If the terminal output is too long to paste into a post, attach it as a file.

Delete the wineprefix.. how?

Set your file manager to show hidden files, look for a folder named .wine in your home directory, and delete it the same way you would delete any other file or folder. Note this will delete any Windows apps you have installed, so if there's anything in it you want to keep, you could just rename it.
