WINE and ms sans serif windows font.

Post by federico.priolo »

Hi all, I have some trouble running a windows program written using powercobol 5.0

I installed the runtime and the dll. The program runs fine without particular troubles !

Only I have got a trouble with ms sans serif font. I tried to copy it from windows/font to wine windows font....

I also installed the package fonts-liberation.. but unsuccessfully.

The wine module is last 1.7.24 under ubuntu 14.04 .

Any advices ?

What I see in the two screenshots is that the font is not bolded in Wine as it is in Windows. You can file a bug for that if you want.

Before open a new bug thread I have made some changes into the wine configuration using the "desktop integration" features. There I can manage some about fonts and change (for example) the colour about the botton text (that actually doesn't appears in bold). Unfortunately it doesn't allow to change the characters about that but only the colour. Should be possible to activate that option in some way ? And another ...since I changed some of them.. I would like to move that complete file configuration to another ubuntu client without changing it item for item. Is there a method I could use for that (copy a file..or... something other? ). A 'reset to default' botton would be appreciated.

Thanks for your attention.
