Text being Offset

I play this old game called Legends (Lands) of Kesmai, on a private server. Its PC only, and obviously I am a Mac user. There is directions on their forum showing how to install and run the game on my mac, and they do work. The problem is, that about a half a second after the game opens, all the text jumps like an inch or so to the left. This would be ok, and dealable, except that once you enter the game, all the text boxes and buttons are unreadable because the text that is not outside of the box is hidden from view. I am posting an image to show you what I mean. Is there a way to go into the code somehow and reset the text back to its right spot? Let me know. Thanks!!!
